Dear Friends and Neighbors,

It has been an busy and exciting 2 months since we launched our campaign in the beginning of April. I wanted to take the time to thank you for all of your support during this important period and update you on our progress.

I am proud to say that in 6 weeks, we raised a total of $107,260! This is a huge accomplishment and a tremendous show of strength of our campaign thanks to supporters like you. We still need to continue our fundraising efforts and I ask you to continue sending in your contributions.

In the coming weeks, we will be busy participating in the Petition Drive (June 9 - July 13) to get my name on the Democratic primary ballot. This is another critical time when we need as many volunteers as possible to reach our goal of 3,000 signatures from District residents. I urge you to volunteer for a shift or two to help collect signatures beginning June 9.

If you would like to participate, join us at our Petition Kick Off Party / Mandatory Training on Saturday, June 6 at 12pm in Flushing. Please bring your friends and family so that we can make the most of this petition season!
